In January 2012 Hut2Hut Events successfully launched Dx3 Canada, the first and only tradeshow dedicated to Canada’s digital marketing, advertising and retailing industries. With over 3,500 attendees and more than a 100 exhibitors, Dx3 Canada was a watershed moment for the digital world in Canada. Don’t miss next year’s show on March 6th & March 7th, 2013, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Hut2Hut Events also recently partnered with AndroidTO to drive discussion, innovation and excitement on and around the Android platform. To read more about AndroidTO, please check out www.AndroidTO.com
Mike Cooke has over 30 years’ experience in the tradeshow industry and has launched many successful shows and businesses in his career. He spent 12 years as the CEO of dmg world media which became Canada’s largest trade show organizer under his stewardship. Mike is no stranger to the digital marketplace, as he was responsible for identifying and acquiring both ad:tech and iMedia, and was the architect of the strategy that developed them into the major global brands they are today.
Duncan was DMG's most senior executive in Canada as well as the Executive Vice President of Business Development worldwide. His knowledge and expertise ranges across a number of diverse industries from Oil and Gas to the Retail and Food industries. This broad understanding of both brands and markets and his ability to bring fresh ideas and innovation to new projects, will help to ensure Dx3 Canada will be fresh, exciting and have a real buzz. Duncan is known for both his people and project management skills and when he is not launching new ventures or climbing mountains, you can find him on the field coaching one of Toronto’s youth rugby teams.
Anthony is a creative and imaginative culture junkie, global citizen, and digital enthusiast. He has spent his career looking after major brands in the agency world, and brings that expertise and knowledge to bear, in his new role, as Dx3 Canada’s Marketing Director. Anthony will be responsible for both content and community for Dx3 Canada. Anthony is our office coffee connoisseur and thai boxing expert, a lethal combination.
Michael spent 5 years managing energy sector events including the world’s largest events dedicated to the Pipeline and Heavy Oil Industries. Following a stint in the digital marketing field he returned to Hut2Hut and his former dmg colleagues. When away from the office you can most likely find Michael in a canoe enjoying a cold beverage.
Kendall is a hyper consumer, blogger and digital media junkie. Her background in advertising, design and journalism has paved the way to where she stands today. Although her career has just started, don't be fooled by her pleasantries, being Dx3's Marketing & Events Coordinator can be a gruelling task, and not for the faint-of-heart. If information is a speeding highway, Kendall has a lead foot.
Susie is a Certified Management Accountant with over 13 year’s experience in the financial management of information. Her career spans over a multitude of different industries, but in particular she worked for 8 years as Finance Controller at dmg world media overseeing the financial reporting, strategic planning, and business development for various consumer, trade, retail and technology events within the marketplace. When not in the office, Susie is trying to keep up with her extremely active 5 and 2 year old children-- and when that gets to be too much you can find her relaxing in boot camp.
