Elizabeth Williams is an award-winning brand and communications expert who has a particular interest in the intersection of HR and marketing. She works with larger organizations on employer branding, internal communications strategies, change communications, recruitment marketing and external brand initiatives. Recent work includes projects with York Region, City of Markham, TELUS, Shoppers Drug Mart, Morneau Shepell and Canada Post.
She started her career as a journalist and later moved into corporate communications and marketing. Prior to founding her consulting practice, she was the head of brand and communications for ADP Canada, and held senior roles at Rogers, Constellation Software, Bank of Montreal, and a few agencies and start-ups along the way. In 2019, she co-founded The Academy of Business Communications which delivers hands-on and virtual training for leaders and communications professionals. She is also a part-time professor at Centennial College.
Elizabeth has an undergraduate degree in Journalism, a Masters degree in communications, and is pursuing her Doctor of Business Administration degree. She secretly wants to be a figure skater.
