Forbes30 Under 30 Gustav Lundberg Toresson is CEO and co-founder of memmo (www.memmo.me), the video greeting platform that connects celebrities one-to-one with fans and businesses.
memmo, which launched just over one year ago, currently has thousands of celebrities live on its platform with about 100,000 video messages created globally. The platform, available in the Nordics, the UK, Canada, and throughout Europe, has been used for a range of recorded videos, including proposals, pep talks, roasts, and gender reveals.
The likes of Carole Baskin (Tiger King), Mike Modano (NHL Hall of Famer), and Sven-Göran Eriksson (former England soccer team manager), are all available.
From selling lottery tickets at the age of 11 to forming his own startup at 18, deferring admission at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in order to study acting, and working for J.P Morgan in London and Boston Consulting Group inDubai, Gustav has had a remarkable and varied career so far.
Before entering the world of business, Gustav spent a year in Sweden’s elite military school as a ranger and paratrooper. Following this, Gustav traveled around the world while studying for his Business & Economics bachelor’s degree and experienced working within both startups and big corporates. He then worked asa consultant at Boston Consulting Group’s new Dubai office before reconnecting with his fellow study friend and memmo co-founder Tobias Bengtsdahl in 2019.
