Ravi Pillai is an accomplished professional in the tea industry with over 35 years of experience. He is a certified Tea Sommelier, Tea Specialist, and Tea Professional. For 20 years, he managed tea estates, supervised tea processing, and implemented pre- and post-harvesting practices. Ravi also has experience in international trading, purchasing teas at auction, and creating custom blends for companies worldwide.

In addition, Ravi has served on the Board of Directors of the Tea & Herbal Association of Canada and the Board of the World Tea Expo. For the past 11 years, he has been a valuable member of the DAVIDsTEA team, working as the Manager of Tea Quality, Straight Teas & Sachet Development.
