Scott Cutler is theCEO of StockX, a Detroit-based technology leader focused on the large and growing online resale marketplace for sneakers, apparel, accessories and collectibles. The platform connects buyers and sellers using the same method as the world’s stock markets – an anonymous, transparent and authentic ‘bid/ask’ market.
Prior to joiningStockX, Cutler served as senior vice president of the Americas at eBay, Inc.,from 2017- 2019. From 2015- 2017, he served as president of StubHub - the world’s largest ticket marketplace - where he led a team of over 1,500 and oversaw the company’s global expansion and operations in the U.S., Europe,Latin America, and China. There, he led the reinvention of the global Stub Hubbr and, expanding the company’s international presence from four to more than 48countries and launching strategic partnerships across sports and music. Before joining StubHub, Cutler spent nine years as the executive vice president at theNew York Stock Exchange, overseeing listings, capital markets, trading, services, and corporate governance. During his tenure there, he helped transform the NYSE into the number one global exchange, leading in tech IPOs, and helping take some of the world’s most iconic brands public. He was responsible for more than $1 trillion in capital market financings. Cutler holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from Brigham Young University and aJuris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
He currently serves on the boards ofBrookfield Property Partners and Brookfield Property REIT (NASDAQ: BPY andBPR), Vibrant Emotional Health, and is a trustee on the National AdvisoryCommittee for his alma mater BYU. Cutler is also a longtime sneaker collector with a penchant for Jordan 1s.
