After 2+ decades of experience, Matt brings transformational leadership to organizations with a focus on culture, innovation, entrepreneurialism and digitally led thinking. Matt has worked across the spectrum of communications services, including UX, Digital, Social, PR & event marketing, branding, advertising, CRM, e-commerce and media, and advises C-level clients holistically and objectively on their digital transformation needs.
He has also worked across key verticals, including finance, consumer packaged goods, travel & tourism, technology, retail and automotive. These clients have allowed him the opportunity to work at the Global level, as well as service specific markets, including Canada, US, Hong Kong, South Korea & Australia.
He has helped 3 different agencies win Agency of the Year as well as Cannes Lions, Best in Shows at the CMAs & FAB Awards, Effies and LIAAs along with many other local awards. He has transformed agencies and introduced new Comms & Channel Planning models, Physical + Digital UX frameworks, Neuromarketing, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Branded Content, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mobile & Social Strategy specialties. In 2012, he was also a Nominee for the 2012 Premier's Awards.
In his spare time, Matt runs a local innovation supper club in Toronto, is a mentor with CFC's ideaBOOST start-up accelerator and sits on the Advisory Boards for Dx3, Mediazoic & Spacefy. He has presented at SXSW (2x), Banff's nextMedia (4x), ICA's Advertising Week, Dx3, Schulich, and Red Academy. In 2011, he was Executive Producer of the off broadway NYC play, "Quake" and wrote, directed & produced "The Grind" in 2001's Toronto Fringe Festival.
