Hifazat 'Faz' Ahmad has 18 years of experience in managing and growing business, conference organizations across three continents. He has organized over 300 events in over 20 countries. Prior to coming to Canada Faz had worked with some of the largest U.K based media and events companies like Emap, Daily Mail Group, Informa and Terrapinn and has sold, produced and managed conferences, large scale exhibitions, awards and managed event businesses. In 2013 Faz left Top Right Group, where he was commercial director responsible for over US$30 million revenue and team of 45 people to migrate to Canada where he established Faz Inc.(IoT Events) a conscious capitalist events and consulting business focused on empowering Canadian businesses to become efficient, help SMEs explore international growth and preparing businesses for opportunities and challenges presented by Millennials generational transition.
Azka Ijaz is the Content Director at IDx3 Canada, she takes care of conferences from its initial to the execution phase. Azka has a Post-grad Certificate in Digital Media Marketing and holds an undergraduate degree with double majors in Chemistry and Mass Communication. As of her strong academic background, Azka always looks for an interesting angle in every situation. At Dx3 Canada, Azka brings her extensive research, management, planning and people skills.
Bea has a Master's Degree in Marketing, Online Marketing, SEO and SEM and more than six years of experience in digital marketing and business communication. In addition, Beatriz has a Journalism Bachelor's Degree from the University of Malaga (Spain), and several years of experience working as a journalist. At Dx3, Beatriz manages the marketing side of the business.
Before the plunge to entrepreneurship Duncan was Executive Vice-President of Business Development Worldwide at dmg world media. When he is not launching new ventures, reimagining Home Shows or climbing mountains, you might him on the field coaching one of Toronto’s youth rugby teams.
Graduate from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce; majored in Hospitality and Tourism and minored in Marketing. She carries intensive experience in world-class international trade shows. Robbin describes herself as a result orientated go-getter when it comes to sales, and detail orientated professionalism when it comes to operations. Akeyla Brew is the Event Operations Manager at DX3 Canada.She is interning at IoT Events and is an expected 2019 graduate of George BrownCollege Special Event Management Program. Akeyla is confident, organised,and passionate about the field of hospitality, special events and customerservice. Akeyla Brew has an extensive background of hands on experience withspecial events through being a part of staff (either volunteer or career wise)at Canadian Special Events, Xpeerience Events and Rentals (Event Facilitator),Sysco Food Expo, TIFF Tribute Gala, NINJAZ Canada Inc (Event Host), Women inWomen presented by Noble Estates Wines and Spirits etc. In addition, Akeyla hasalso studied French and is conservational in Spanish. At Dx3 CanadaAkeyla uses her strong time-management and organizational skills to help andexecute anticipated events for the Dx3 attendees.
Pedro Moraes is the Social Media Coordinator at DX3 Canada. He is interning at IoT Events and is an expected 2019 graduate of George Brown College Sports and Event Marketing Program. Pedro is a hardworking and passionate individual with extensive experience in marketing. Prior to DX3 Pedro worked for PUC (Brazil) as a Marketing Analyst. At DX3 Pedro is Responsible for management of social media accounts and website.
