Melissa is Head of Community and Managing Partner at Dorm Room Fund, a university-focused venture fund started by leading seed-stage firm First Round Capital. In her role, Melissa meets with portfolio companies to workshop community growth and growth flywheels, and leads platform offerings focused on startups’ engagement with Dorm Room Fund’s Gen Z audience. DRF-backed companies — including Brooklinen, Snackpass, Verb Energy, and The Rounds —have collectively raised $2.5B in follow-on capital and created $8.3B+ in value.
