As Director of Marketing for Best Buy Canada, Tara is responsible for retail marketing as well as the in-house, bilingual production of Best Buy’s print and digital marketing. She joined Best Buy in 2016 as Director of Media & Consumer Insights.
During her time with the company, Tara has been a champion for marketing technology investments including the adoption of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Audience Manager and the CUE Print Production System.
Tara began her career in strategy, working for the global consulting firm, Bain & Company. During this period Tara discovered her passion for driving change and continuous improvement. From there, Tara joined Shoppers Drug Mart to help lead the design & implementation of a major repositioning strategy and has since worked with numerous retailers and consumer brands, both as a consultant and head of marketing.
Tara is known for her curiosity and endless energy, her transparent leadership and her insatiable appetite for learning and growth. Tara believes that the key to thriving in the crazy world of retail marketing, is building a highly adaptable, engaged and empowered marketing team that thrives on change.
