As Director of Marketing for Best Buy Canada, Tara is responsible for retail and co-op marketing, marketing operations and the company’s growing ad solutions business, Best Buy Media Network. She is a champion for digital transformation, Agile Marketing and data & technology-driven marketing.
Tara began her career in strategy, working for the global consulting firm, Bain & Company. At Bain, Tara discovered her passion for driving change and continuous improvement. From there, Tara joined Shoppers Drug Mart to help lead the design & implementation of a major repositioning strategy and has since worked with numerous retailers and consumer brands, both as a consultant and head of marketing.
Tara is known for her curiosity and energy, her transparent leadership and her insatiable appetite for learning and growth. Tara believes that the key to thriving in the crazy world of retail marketing, is building a highly adaptable, Agile, empowered marketing team that thrives on change.
